Beginning the Amazon Adventure S1.E1

Slumberlights has sold our items in-person and here on our domain. To expand our reach to potential customers we are beginning the process of signing up to sell on Amazon.com. We understand this is sometimes not an easy process. To help others who may follow us down this road, we will occasionally post updates here to let you know how the process is going and what pitfalls may lay in waiting.

To begin, we already are formed in the State of Delaware as an LLC (Limited Liability Company). We are registered to pay taxes in Delaware and we have a Delaware business license. So far so good.

To get started with Amazon we need the following;

• personal valid government issued ID

• Recent bank account or cc statement

• chargeable credit card or debit card

• mobile phone number

We have been working with a Google Voice phone number that points to our phone system so that is not a worry. Our officers are citizens of the USA so that is covered as well.

A quick visit to the bank secured a credit card linked to our checking account, so we are ready to go.

Amazon is not. Their website has hung up on form submission several times. We will wait until later today or tomorrow and try again.
