Our First Project

When Slumberlights started, we were thinking we would sell our patented glow-in-the-dark ceiling fan blades. Some of the selling points we envisioned were

  • Central light source nightlight. No unusual shadows to scare young children.

  • Large source of non-blue light would light up the entire room.

  • Light would be available whenever the power goes out.

We made them and tested in the house and discovered that even four blades of glow-in-the-dark material provided too much light. Even the non-blue light was sufficient to make getting back to sleep difficult for too many users.

So we have temporarily dropped our plans for glow-in-the-dark ceiling fan blades and instead we are focusing on our glowsters, travel glowsters, and other glow-in-the-dark novelties and nightlights.
